While vampires have all the typical powers in Anne Rice's Immortal Universe, (enhanced strength, speed, durability and virtual immortality), they can also read the minds without those who have blocks against such abilities. Louis will generally do so as a matter of habit, but I don't want to godmod or overstep boundaries.
Tag here to discuss what Louis might be able to gather from your character's thoughts. If you'd rather he only get general ideas, we can work around it, but much like his companion, Lestat, it's better to avoid him altogether if you'd rather not be read at all.

I did want to mention that Spike is aware of Lestat's presence, but he knows nothing about him, and isn't particularly impressed with him, so there's not any reason for him to be in Spike's thoughts.

Some potential things to consider would be that Martin is marked by a couple different entities from his canon. The main one is a force of loneliness, which is sort of constantly trying to get at him despite his best efforts to ignore it. I always represent that with cold, saltwater smells, and fog. I'd like to imagine a lot of Martin's thoughts - especially lonely ones - are 'flavored' in that way. The other entity is all about the sense of being watched. That's tied more directly to his partner John, but if you wanted to play around with that, it's possible that Louis might have a faint sense of being watched back when reading Martin. Just if you want to spook him a bit.
Otherwise Martin is just a regular dude with anxiety who mostly thinks about his boyfriend all day long. Though he would probably not be able to avoid thinking at least once about how devastatingly beautiful Louis is.
Let me know if you have any thoughts :)

And I think all of that works. I really like the idea of him having a vague sense of being "watched back." From where I'm bringing him, he's only ever encountered Lestat and Claudia as far as other vampires/supernatural beings go, so I think it'll be fun. :D
